ONE - A class for beginners and yogi’s with some experience and for those interested in coming back to the foundation we all started with.
TWO - Open to all students of mixed levels. Do expect a substantial increased level of challenge from a level one class.
THREE - A practice for mixed level and advanced students seeking a more challenging practice, variety and intensity. No beginners or first timers please.
HATHA YOGA - Based on holding postures blended with breath-work with some emphasis on alignment and technique and a deep relaxation period (savasana).
HATHA RESTORE - A combination of gentle hatha yoga poses and restorative. Focus is on balancing and calming the physical, mental and emotions body. This practice has deep long and relaxing holds and some poses use a blanket or a cushion if necessary for support. It also includes a long savasana (corpse pose) and some meditation. This class is perfect for the person who is needing to de-stress or who is working through an injury. All ages and levels welcome.
RAJA YOGA - A complete approach to yoga that includes postures and breath-work with emphasis on alignment and technique, concentration and relaxation as a preparation for meditation. Mostly postures, plenty of breath-work ends with 5 – 10 minute meditation period.
VINYASA - A practice that combines linking sun or moon salutations and postures with the breath. Deeply conditions and strengthens all the muscles and increases endurance becasue there resting is limited to very short periods. Mostly based on postures and some breath-work and ends with a deep relaxation period (savasana).
RAJA VINYASA - Combines the comprehensive variety of the Raja practice with the fluid sequences of vinyasa, breath-work and of course a sweet meditation.
HATHA VINYASA - This combination class includes the best of traditional yoga with rests, holding postures all connected with fluid flowing sequences that creates symmetry between the body, mind and breath.
COMMUNITY - A good class beginners and for mixed levels, offered by donation, all are welcome. These classes are taught by new trainees.
KIRTAN - Indian devotional music (live), chant the beautiful bhakti bhajans (songs) that have kept these traditions alive for thousands of years. See our Special Events for details on the next event.
DETOX YOGA - An Ayurvedic Hot Yoga - Sweat, purge and cleanse every morsel of your body. These classes are a mindful ayurvedic approach to purifying your body of toxins, excess fat and phlegm through a yoga practice infused with special combinations of postures and sequences and powerful breathing exercises in a hot room. All are welcome :)
