 Healing The Ayurveda Body and the Yoga Mind

Learning to Heal from the Inside-Out. This special class is focused on the energy of yoga within the body that is born of the five elements. Learn how to combine yoga postures while embracing the Ayurvedic principles of tri-dosha (vata, pitta and kapha). Experience a practicum of yoga as therapy, based on the Bengali yoga tradition that includes muscle control, tensing-releasing-stretching exercises and pranayama techniques that increase the intrinsic mind-body-spirit connection. Explore how awakening the sacred kundalini energy can be a useful form of healing the physical, mental and emotional bodies. All are welcome

The workshop will include a Therapeutic Yoga Practice combined with the wisdom of Ayurveda
